Refound and Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans can change — especially in a country where nature likes to improvise. This cancellation policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful of both travelers and local operations.
1. Cancellations by the Client

More than 48 hours before the tour start time
→ Full refund (100%), no questions asked. -
Between 48 and 24 hours before the tour start time
→ 50% refund. -
Less than 24 hours before the tour start time or no-show
→ No refund.
This policy applies to all private and small-group tours.
2. Weather & Safety-Related Cancellations (by Us)
Safety always comes first. If a tour is cancelled by us due to:

Severe weather conditions

Road closures
-
Unsafe driving conditions

Official warnings from Icelandic authorities
You will be offered one of the following options:

A full refund (100%), or
-
The possibility to reschedule the tour for another available date
The decision to cancel a tour for safety reasons is always made in the best interest of our guests.
3. Changes & Rescheduling

Changes to tour dates or times are subject to availability.

Requests made more than 48 hours in advance will be accommodated whenever possible, at no extra cost.

Last-minute changes may not be possible due to logistics and planning constraints.
4. Early Termination of a Tour
If a tour is shortened or interrupted due to weather, road conditions, or safety concerns:

Partial refunds are not guaranteed, as operational costs remain unchanged.

Each case will be evaluated individually, always with fairness and transparency.
5. Refund Method

Refunds are issued using the original payment method.

Processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. Acceptance of Policy
By booking a tour, you acknowledge and accept this cancellation and refund policy.
