About me

Hi, It's Dafne here!
I grew up in a multicultural family, which basically means dinner conversations sounded like travel podcasts long before podcasts existed. Stories about migration, long journeys, and unexpected adventures were just… normal. I didn’t know it then, but those stories were quietly doing their thing.
I studied architecture, worked in construction for over 12 years, and did what you’re supposed to do. Then life changed direction, and I did too. I spent several years traveling on foot and by bicycle, without a strict plan and without trying to “find myself” — luckily.
Somewhere along the road, something clicked. I realized that the way you travel matters as much as where you go. That’s when it became clear there are two very different ways to travel.
One is moving through places without really being there — following routes, checking highlights, passing through spaces that leave no trace. The other is slower, more aware, and far more interesting. You understand the place, the people, and how you fit into it.
So here’s the idea: travel the second way.
Let me show you how it works — and let me show you Iceland from that perspective. No rush, no checklists, just a different way to experience the journey.
